Critical warning: INeedHelp is not an emergency service.
INeedHelp is a private communication and coordination tool intended to help users share incidents, requests for help, and safety-related notifications with selected contacts, groups, volunteers, coordinators, or nearby users where such features are available.
INeedHelp does not replace police, ambulance, fire brigade, emergency medical services, rescue coordination centers, or any other official emergency channel.
If you are in immediate danger, or in any life- or health-threatening situation, contact your local emergency services immediately.
1. No guarantee of response or assistance
INeedHelp does not guarantee that any person will receive, see, accept, respond to, or act on your alert, incident, message, or request for help.
The Service does not guarantee dispatch, intervention, rescue, medical assistance, or any minimum response time.
2. No guarantee of uninterrupted operation
Continuous 24/7 operation is not guaranteed. The Service may be affected by outages, maintenance, internet or mobile network issues, operating system restrictions, battery-saving settings, GPS inaccuracies, device failures, push notification delays, infrastructure incidents, or third-party service disruptions.
3. Mandatory backup safety plan
You should always maintain a backup safety plan and must not rely on INeedHelp as your only safety mechanism.
Your backup plan should include, where appropriate:
- direct emergency calling options;
- alternative communication channels;
- predefined emergency contacts;
- offline or local fallback actions;
- clear personal safety procedures for high-risk situations.
4. Appropriate use
- Use INeedHelp as a supplementary communication tool only.
- Do not delay calling official emergency services while waiting for app-based notifications or responses.
- Follow local emergency procedures, public safety instructions, and applicable law.
- Use the Service responsibly and do not create false, misleading, abusive, or malicious incidents.
5. Location and device limitations
Some features depend on your device settings and permissions, including location services, notifications, connectivity, background activity, and operating system behavior.
If permissions are denied, revoked, restricted, or interrupted, some features may not work correctly or may become unavailable. Location data may also be delayed, approximate, stale, or inaccurate.
6. User responsibility
You are responsible for deciding whether and how to use the information delivered through INeedHelp. You are also responsible for your own safety decisions, emergency preparedness, and use of backup channels.
You should evaluate your circumstances independently and seek official help whenever needed.
7. Groups, volunteers, and third-party participants
The availability, actions, and reliability of volunteers, group members, coordinators, or other users are outside our control. We do not guarantee their identity, availability, qualifications, response quality, or conduct.
8. Data and account removal
If your account was created in the app, you may request deletion of your account and associated personal data through the in-app account deletion flow and, where available, through our web-based deletion request method.

We may update this Safety Notice from time to time. The latest version will be made available through the app, website, or other reasonable means.
